What is Christian Science?
Mary Baker Eddy, who discovered and
founded Christian Science, defined it as “the
law of God, the law of good...” (Rudimental
Divine Science). This deeper understanding
of God as infinite Love and unchanging
goodness leads to prayer that can heal,
redeem, and restore anyone.
The Bible
Christian Scientists study and take the inspired word of the Bible. The New Testament and Old Testament are both read during our Sunday and Wednesday meetings.
Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures
Mary Baker Eddy wrote Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures in the later 1800's. After a life-threatening injury, she turned to the Bible, understood the spiritual inspiration from a story of Jesus healing a man who could not walk, and she was immediately healed herself.
From that point on, she spent time researching the Bible. During these years, she discovered Christian Science and wrote Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. This book has brought healing to thousands of people, and helps us unlock the meaning of the Bible and Jesus' teachings.
Who was Mary Baker Eddy?
Mary Baker Eddy was the discoverer of the Science of Christ, or Christian Science. She was a spiritual pioneer who healed many, started a church, established The Christian Science Sentinel, The Christian Science Journal, and The Christian Science Monitor.
Mary Baker Eddy is our Pastor Emeritus. Her book, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, is read in tandem with the Bible at all Christian Science church services.

There is no religious creed, but we do have important points, or religious tenets. These can be found on page 497 of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy.

Unique to many churches, our pastor is not a person- but is instead two books.
