As early as 1908 there was a Christian Science Reading Room in a house occupied by Thomas and Ruth Parish at 324 Washington St., but the church wasn’t officially organized in Grand Haven until October 1910 by a small group that had been meeting and studying Christian Science. Anna E.W. Andrews was credited with starting the Christian Science movement in Grand Haven. She lived from 1860-1930. By 1941 the church had its own building at 504 Clinton in Grand Haven. The original building was expanded over the years. In 2019 it was converted to a private residence by local contractor Rich Buitenhuis.
By 2019, the church’s location was moved to its current spot at 1705 S. Beacon Blvd., Grand Haven in the Beacon Village Plaza.
Your generous donations help us to continue the cause of Christian Science, share this healing way of life with our community, and maintain our building.
Thank you for your contribution.
