Christian Science Society of Ludington, MI had its beginnings in 1887.  The articles of incorporation under Michigan law were signed by a group of earnest students of Christian Science on December 10, 1898.  On May 2, 1899, First Church of Christ, Scientist, Ludington, MI was accepted as a branch church by The Mother Church in Boston, MA.  The cornerstone of the current building was laid in June 1915.

In June 2000 the church became Christian Science Society, Ludington.
